Depeche Mode – Music for the Masses

Depeche Mode made an interesting-looking record slip for Music for the Masses, which is what makes this number so expensive. Pictured is a set of red speakerphones framed in a beautiful dawn sky. The frame of this picture is orange. If all these details are there, then you have something that was only briefly distributed by Depeche Mode’s record label. You could then sell it for $4,600! But make sure that it has the right slip!

Misfits – Legacy of Brutality (1985)

There were only 16 copies of this violent-sounding record from punk band Misfits. It was thanks to a release that did not consider Glen Danzig, Misfits’ former vocalist, that production and distribution ended so quickly. Danzig was not asked for permission, and he instantly set his lawyer on the record label to put a stop to it all with a months-long lawsuit. Misfits fans with a lot of money to spare will buy this ultra-rare record for about $5,000!
