21st Century Symphony Orchestra – Waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr.
Let us now go from rock ‘n roll to classical music with 21st Century Symphony Orchestra. These virtuosos’ record, called Waltzes by Johann Strauss, Jr., was brought to incredible fame thanks to one artist who would one day become world-famous. His name was Andy Warhol, and he created the cover art for the record. With just 7 copies of Waltzes having survived, just one of these rare pieces can be sold for $5,500. This was the case in a 2012 auction.

Max Steiner – The Caine Mutiny
The following record was created with the help of a writer called Herman Wouk, even if he was unaware of it. Max Steiner included sections of dictated lines from Wouk’s novel, called The Caine Mutiny. Too bad Steiner did not ask for permission from Wouk if he could use his work! This then led to Wouk threatening to ban the studio from using his work if they released the record. The record label, called Columbia, made sure to destroy as many of these records as possible. A few made it, however, and in 2007 a copy was sold for $6,700.
