Plenty of creatives will sadly only be properly appreciated for their contributions sometime after they have passed. The famous painter Thomas Kinkade did his best to avoid such a tragic life, however, and made sure that he would be rich and famous long before he was dead and buried. Kinkade got to work producing hundreds upon hundreds of paintings with which to flood the market with. The man ended up quite wealthy as a result of his industrious creativity. Today, you will struggle to get a good price for a Kinkade, given how more than 5% of households in America have a piece by him!

Hess Trucks
The older generations will probably enjoy seeing a Hess Truck again after such a long time. These model trucks were hugely popular around the 60s. Plenty of the time of these trucks’ renown was spent, from the manufacturer’s side, improving their durability so that kids could play with them for longer periods. As a result of all the rough play, there are few Hess Trucks around today that aren’t damaged, but a first-edition one in mint condition will sell for a few thousand dollars!
